Jasmin Sanchez, LPC
I help clients understand their emotions, strengthen their voice, and build coping skills for real life. Whether I’m supporting a child through big feelings or an adult navigating grief, identity, relationships, or life changes, my goal is to create a space that feels supportive, practical, and empowering.
My approach is person-centered and collaborative, which means I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, age, and goals. I integrate Adlerian therapy, CBT, EMDR, REBT, and play-based interventions to help clients explore patterns, build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change in their daily lives.
My Story
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped not only by my education and clinical experience, but also by my own experiences with anxiety, grief, and seasons of feeling unsure of how to move forward. I know how easily difficult emotions can affect the way you see yourself, connect with others, and manage the responsibilities of everyday life. Those experiences deepened my belief that people need more than advice. They need a space where they can feel understood, be honest about what they are carrying, and begin making sense of their experiences without judgment.
Through my own growth, I came to understand that healing does not mean never feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or affected by loss. It means learning how to respond to yourself with greater understanding, recognize the strengths that have helped you survive, and develop new ways of moving through life when old coping patterns are no longer working.
That perspective shapes the way I approach therapy. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where children and adults can feel safe exploring their emotions, relationships, identity, and life experiences. I am especially passionate about supporting Hispanic and Latino clients, first-generation adults, and individuals navigating anxiety, grief, family expectations, self-esteem, and major life transitions. My hope is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your ability to face difficult moments, and less alone in whatever season you are navigating.
Adults Seeking Self-Understanding and Emotional Awareness
I support adults who struggle to express their needs, set boundaries, or feel confident in their relationships. Together, we explore patterns like people-pleasing, self-doubt, difficulty communicating, and putting others’ needs before your own. Therapy can help you better understand these patterns, strengthen your sense of self, and build healthier, more connected relationships.
First-Generation and Hispanic Clients
I support first-generation individuals and Hispanic and Latino clients as they navigate culture, identity, family expectations, communication, self-esteem, and generational patterns. Therapy can be a space to honor where you come from while also making room for your own voice, needs, boundaries, and growth.
Adults Navigating Grief, Anxiety, and Life Stress
I work with adults who are navigating grief, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, work stress, or major life transitions. Together, we explore what feels overwhelming, identify patterns that may no longer be helping, and build practical coping skills to support healing, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Children Learning to Manage Big Emotions
I work with children who may be struggling with emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioral concerns, communication, or changes at home or school. Through developmentally appropriate support, including play-based interventions, I help children better understand their feelings, build coping skills, and express themselves in healthier ways.
